About Guided Navigation
Increasingly, in modern eCommerce, instead of the merchant grouping GM products into categories and sub-categories, the shopper can carry out their own selection using guided, or 'faceted', navigation.
For example, a shopper might choose all the apparel in green, and in a large size. Another shopper, from the same starting point, might select all hoodies with an emblem on the back.
